Welcome

Whether you are just visiting the area or looking for a new church home, our mission at Grace Lutheran Church is to help you renew, strengthen, or begin your relationship with God while attending our worship services.

While you were visiting with us, if we approached you and overwhelmed you with our welcome, it’s only because we are so excited about the blessings of joy, peace, and strength the Lord gives us. We are enthusiastic about our faith and want to share that with others. On the other hand, if we did not get the opportunity to chat with you please accept our apologies. Our desire is to ensure that each person that enters our church receives a warm welcome; however, in wanting to do this, we also want to respect a visitors’ sense of “space.” It is sometimes difficult to know what to do, so we hope your experience was a positive one.

If you are looking for a new church home, we invite you to consider Grace Lutheran Church. We have a lot to offer. We do our best to keep our website up to date. If you want to know about other current worship opportunities at Hibbing Grace Lutheran for adults and children, please visit our website, www.gracehibbing.com. We also have other opportunities for learning and studying through inter-generational small and large group Bible studies offered at various times throughout the year. We also offer Christian educational parenting programs and communication and conflict resolution workshops for couples on a yearly basis. Our youth and children’s ministries are ongoing throughout the year.

Our worship services offer both traditional and contemporary music. We also have an Old Country Gospel worship service a few times a year that is a truly uplifting experience. We welcome all God’s children, but if you desire to utilize the children’s room to care for your child during worship services (and our children’s room is closed), please speak to an usher, the pastor, or approach any member of the church. We will be happy to accommodate you. Please join us for coffee and fellowship, as we welcome the opportunity to get to know you better. We also have bible study during the education hour, while the children are in Sunday school.

The following is truly an uplifting piece about God’s promise:God hath not promised skies always blue;
Flower-strewn pathways, all our lives through.
God hath not promised sun without rain;
Joy without sorrow; Peace without pain.

But God hath promised strength for the day;
Rest for the labor; Light for the way;

Grace for the trials; Help from above;
Unfailing sympathy Undying love.
